Jiang Mingjun (Hong Kong, China)
Founding President of IESCO

Mr.Jiang Mingjun was born in Jiaozhou city, Shandong Province, China on March 26, 1956. He graduated from Pacific Ecological College, Far Eastern Polytechnic University and International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is an academician of the UN International Royal Heritage Academy, academician, Deputy President of International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences and an adjunct professor at the Dalian University of Technology.

1980-1994: Director, vice bureau director, bureau director and inspector in the Inspection Bureau of Dongning County, Mudanjiang city  and Heilongjiang Province;

1995-1996: Inspector of the general office of Heilongjiang provincial government, Secretary-General of Xubeihong (Heilongjiang) Foundation, and Deputy Secretary-General of the editorial committee of Government Affairs Dictionary of P.R.C. ;

1996 – 2002: Secretary-General of International Coordinating Committee for Asia-Pacific Region and Coordinator of Ecological Center of The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP);
2002 – 2005:  Executive Director of the Ecological Center of the UNDP, Executive Officer of UN Global Compact Development Program, and Member of the Science Committee of World Political Forum ;
2005 – 2006: Standing Committee Member of the Steering Committee of Urban Planning Management of UN-HABITAT,
vice chairman of North/North Network and Rotating Chairman of Global Urban Development Organization;
2006-;   Founding President and Director-General of International Ecological Safety Collaborative Organization;
22 June 2012:- Elected as Chairman of Ecological Safety and Climate Change Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP);
November 2012:- Elected as Chairman of the Climate Change Committee of Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean;
April 2013: - Elected as Chairman of Ecological Civilization Committee of UN Alliance of Civilizations;
May 2013- : Elected as Executive President of Global Parties Climate and Ecological Alliance
May 2013- : Elected as Executive President of of UN Youth Empowerment and Urban Ecology Committee.
