2013 GMS Fair Opens In Hangzhou

 (IESCO news by Duan Ying) On Dec. 14,, 2013 Great Mekong Sub-region Fair co-organized by Hangzhou Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau, Hangzhou Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and GMS Business Board opened in Hangzhou, China. At the invitation of the sponsors, Deputy Director-General of IESCO An Xueli headed a delegation to the Fair. He read a congratulatory letter from Director-General Jiang Mingjun at the opening ceremony.

Great Mekong Sub-region refers to the six countries and regions in the Mekong River basin, including Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Yunnan province, China. The 5-day fair attracted exhibitors from GMS countries as well as countries and regions like Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, ROK and Taiwan of China, which gave citizens in Hangzhou a glimpse of different cultures and special products from various countries.
