"White-Night, 2014" to be Held in June in Grozny, the capital of Chechen Republic, Russian Federation

 (IESCO) Russian International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences will hold its annual International Conference on Scientific Practice Meeting, White-Night, 2014, in Grozny, the capital city of Chechen Republic, Russian Federation, on June 1-3, 2014.

This year’s "White-Night” conference is the 21st of its annual meeting. Due to its influence and importance, it has been chosen to be listed in the annual important   events of the Science Management Committee of Russia Academy of Sciences. 

The "White-Night 2014” is themed on "the Key Issues in Environmental Protection and Technological Security under Changing Anthropic Conditions"

The environment is the basis for human survival. But mounting factual testimonies have proved that the deterioration of environment has wreaked great havoc on human life. How to protect the environment and achieve the sustainable development of society has become a growing concern of all. This year’s “White-Night” conference will explore the sources of pollutions of the environment, seek solutions, and work out plans to address environmental issues.,  

The conference will compose the plenary meeting, section meetings, the releasing of teaching materials and monographs, the publication of papers, and visits. All the papers to be collected will focus on life protection and labor security, environmental protection and ecological safety, safety in emergencies, industrial safety, and training of professionals in life protection and ecological safety.

Links: Founded in 1993, the International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences (IAELPS) aims to unite top engineers and scholars alike to cultivate researchers in science and engineering, undertake important and forward-looking researches and plans so as to protect the health of human life from the dangers of nature, science and technology, and ecology, and ensure the security of human activities and recovery of the industrial environment. In 2000, IAELPS became an associate member of the Department of Public Information (DPI) of the United Nations and was given the special consultative status by the Economic and Social Council of UN (UN-ECOSOC) in 2004. The Academy includes the presidium, academic committee and research committee as well as subsidiaries in 74 nations or regions. It can confer degrees or titles of candidate doctors, doctors, associate professors, professors and elect academicians. Its current president is Rusak Oleg, doctor in science, professor, Russia Meritorious Scientist, Russia meritorious ecologist, and a winner of 2003 Russian President's Award. Its current deputy presidents are Malayan Karpushprofessor of St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University, and Dr. Jiang Mingjun, Director-General of International Ecological Safety Collaborative Organization.
